Depending on your workout, you may choose to have a pre-workout meal. Eat oats, protein shakes, bananas, whole grains, yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, caffeine, and smoothies 30 minutes before a workout to prevent extra fatigue.

Salmon. The lean protein in this fish makes it a great source of muscle-building protein. As well as being rich in amino acids (the building blocks of protein), salmon also helps build muscle mass.
